Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Agriculture Minister Ibrohim Abdurakhmanov held talks with Tajik Agriculture Minister Kurbon Hakimzoda.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the current state of bilateral agricultural cooperation and avenues for its further development.

Particular attention was paid to expanding joint projects and strengthening practical cooperation between the countries.

The ministers discussed prospects for developing agricultural processing in border regions, including the fruit and vegetable, grain, legume, and oilseed industries. They also discussed the introduction of modern seed production systems and the widespread application of scientific research.

The parties agreed to intensify the exchange of experience, develop scientific cooperation, and introduce advanced technologies to improve the efficiency of agricultural production and strengthen mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
